For physicians & facilities

Same-day vascular access, without the transfer.

Keep your patients out of the hospital, the ED and the infusion chair. AIMS brings advanced vascular access and skilled nursing to the patient’s home, your clinic or your facility.

Same day

PICC placement is often possible the day of referral.

No X-ray

ECG tip confirmation at the bedside, with no transport for imaging.

Fewer transfers

Avoid ambulance transport and hospital scheduling bottlenecks.

Referral process

Four steps,
no portal.

What to include with an order

  • Physician/provider order
  • Patient name, DOB, address & phone
  • Diagnosis and indication
  • Therapy, duration and device requested (if known)
  • Relevant labs and allergies
  • Your callback number

To protect patient privacy, please send orders and clinical information by fax or phone, not through our website forms.

  1. STEP 01

    Fax the order

Send orders, patient demographics and a callback number to (541) 653-9155. Or call (541) 505-7386 to talk it through first.

  2. STEP 02

    We confirm and schedule

Our office contacts the patient or facility, explains cost and timing, and books the visit, often the same day for PICC placement.

  3. STEP 03

    Care at the bedside

An AIMS RN performs the procedure in the home, your clinic or the facility, using ultrasound and ECG guidance as appropriate.

  4. STEP 04

    Documentation back to you

Procedure notes, including device, vessel, length and tip confirmation, are returned to the ordering provider.

Staff education

Upskill your team on-site.

Hands-on in-services on peripheral IV insertion, PICC and midline care, port access, phlebotomy and central line de-clotting, plus N95 qualitative fit testing.

“We previously had to send our patients to one of the hospitals for this placement at a cost of over $3,000! We often had to wait for up to a week… We can get same day service at AIMS Vascular Access.”
